Engineer Fawaz Farhan Al-Raslani honors scientists in the field of nuclear energy. Nuclear and radiation sciences play a pivotal role in enhancing countries’ national capabilities through the development of technologies and innovations that support health, agriculture, and energy, in addition to improving preparedness and response to nuclear and radiological emergencies to ensure the protection of the population and the environment. In this context, the Al-Raslani Trilogy, in the presence of Ms. Mazna Assi, Head of Nuclear and Radiological Emergency Preparedness at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), honored Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Fadi Malek, Executive Secretary of the National Authority for the Implementation of Lebanon’s International Obligations Related to CBRN and Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction, Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Lebanon, and Lieutenant Colonel Jamal Shaker, Head of Assessment and Planning at the Emergency Response Cell for Defense against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Threats, Emergency Operations Division, from Morocco.
